We will be traveling to Pamlico Seabase in Blounts Creek, NC. It will be a 2-3 hour drive. We will be tent camping. Scouts should plan on action packer camping and cooking by patrol. We will be going to the Aurora Fossil Museum. They have a gift shop if scouts want to bring a few dollars. This is optional. We will have opportunities to enjoy nature, work on merit badges, see dolphins and other aquatic life. If scouts are BSA swim test certified, they may also participate in canoeing and swiming. Bring a towel and swimgear. We will be camping near the water. While we will be camping at a North Carolina adventure base, this is not a high adventure trip and open to everyone. Please arrive at the farm by 4:45pm Friday 5/5. Dinner in belly/bag.
