About Us

Troop 320 is an active Boy Scout Troop in the Town of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.  We are a unit within the Black River District of the Occoneechee Council.

Originally chartered in 1951, Troop 320 has been continually serving Fuquay-Varina for the past 40 years. It has been awarded the Quality Unit award for the past 39 years.

Troop 320 goes by the "Orange Crush" nickname, a reference to the color of their hats and the colors of Fuquay-Varina High School. This name was given to them by fellow troops as 320 arrived at summer camp in a very large, old and crinkled orange school bus many years ago.  A tradition of the troop is to hand out cans of Orange Crush soda to other scouts at summer camp.

Join our troop.  We will be meeting in the Centrum  at 100 Judd Parkway SE, Fuquay Varina from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM.

We will be at Camp Campbell again this year (on Kerr Lake - northern North Carolina/southern Virginia )

 

- This is an opportunity to relax and to let the Scouts show off their camping skills.
- Open to all family members. As a family camping event, each family is camping on their own (no troop planned coordination on meals, gear, although Mr. Traylor will bring the troop trailer.).
- Arrive when you are able on Friday afternoon.
- If you have a canoe, kayak, please bring it along.

Directions
 · Take I-85 N to Hwy 39 (Exit 206) just south of Henderson
· Continue North on Hwy 39 for 14 miles
· Fork right onto Rock Spring Church Road/NC 1356 (the church is in the fork)
· Continue about 3 miles, You will cross the NC/VA state line.
· Turn Left off State Road 717 and onto State Road 826
· Camp Campbell is on the right
