About Us

Troop 320 is an active Boy Scout Troop in the Town of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.  We are a unit within the Black River District of the Occoneechee Council.

Originally chartered in 1951, Troop 320 has been continually serving Fuquay-Varina for the past 40 years. It has been awarded the Quality Unit award for the past 39 years.

Troop 320 goes by the "Orange Crush" nickname, a reference to the color of their hats and the colors of Fuquay-Varina High School. This name was given to them by fellow troops as 320 arrived at summer camp in a very large, old and crinkled orange school bus many years ago.  A tradition of the troop is to hand out cans of Orange Crush soda to other scouts at summer camp.

Join our troop.  We will be meeting in the Centrum  at 100 Judd Parkway SE, Fuquay Varina from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM.

Join us for our Florida Spring trip!  We will be heading to Florida this year to enjoy sun, fun and relaxation.  We will visit the Astronaut Hall of fame, tour NASA at Cape  Canaveral, swim with the manatees in Blue Springs and camp at Camp Lanochie near Deland.  We will also spend the day at a  water park in Orlando, visit Ron Jon's, grill on the beach and pick up some local activities.  Right now the cost looks to be around $150.  A $120 deposit is required to reserve your space.  This includes all food, lodging and transportation excluding several meals that will be purchased while in route.  So if you  want to experience a great event sign up soon.  Space is usually limited.
