About Us

Troop 320 is an active Boy Scout Troop in the Town of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.  We are a unit within the Black River District of the Occoneechee Council.

Originally chartered in 1951, Troop 320 has been continually serving Fuquay-Varina for the past 40 years. It has been awarded the Quality Unit award for the past 39 years.

Troop 320 goes by the "Orange Crush" nickname, a reference to the color of their hats and the colors of Fuquay-Varina High School. This name was given to them by fellow troops as 320 arrived at summer camp in a very large, old and crinkled orange school bus many years ago.  A tradition of the troop is to hand out cans of Orange Crush soda to other scouts at summer camp.

Join our troop.  We will be meeting in the Centrum  at 100 Judd Parkway SE, Fuquay Varina from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM.

We will leave very early on Saturday morning so that we can get to Hammocks Beach early and paddle out to the island.

Sunday we paddle back to mainland, load up, Scout service, and then leave for Traylor Farm.
