About Us

Troop 320 is an active Scouts BSA Boy Troop in the Town of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.  We are a unit within the Cardinal District of the Occoneechee Council.

Originally chartered in 1951, Troop 320 has been continually serving Fuquay-Varina for the past 40 years. It has been awarded the Quality Unit award for the past 39 years.

Troop 320 goes by the "Orange Crush" nickname, a reference to the color of their hats and the colors of Fuquay-Varina High School. This name was given to them by fellow troops as 320 arrived at summer camp in a very large, old and crinkled orange school bus many years ago.  A tradition of the troop is to hand out cans of Orange Crush soda to other scouts at summer camp.

Join our troop.  We will be meeting at 100 Judd Parkway SE, Fuquay Varina from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM

Troop Outing
Location:
Traylor Farm
Description:

We'll be camping at Mr Traylor's farm both nights. During the day on Saturday, we'll be traveling by Van to Raven Rock where we will complete a 5 mile hike. Scouts should plan to arrive at the farm at 5pm Friday with dinner in belly on in hand. Cooking will be by patrol in static camp for the rest of the weekend. Saturday, patrols should plan a lunch they can prepare/eat on the hike.

This is a good opportunity to work on scout requirements. Scouts should work with their PLC to plan stations and instructional time for requirements needed for scouts in each patrol.
