Orienteering.  Knot tying.  Lashings. Fire building. Some of the many skills that will be taught during our Scout Skills Campout.  This is a great opportunity for new scouts to learn skills and get requirements signed off, and for older scouts to refresh and finetune the skills they have already learned.

• Friday (2/16): 4:00 Meet at Traylor Farm (1801 Ball Rd Holly Springs, NC 27540)
• Friday (2/16): 4:30 Leave for Camp Reeves
• Sunday (2/18): ~10:00 Depart for Traylor Farm
• Sunday (2/18): ~11:15 Arrive at Traylor Farm (Note: no one is able to leave until the vans are cleaned, trailer and storage area properly arranged and your SPL has released you.)

Things to Know

• Health Form (A & B required): If this is your first campout with the troop, you will need to turn in parts A & B of the BSA Physical/Health Form https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/680-001_ABC.pdf 
• Packing:

  • Water:  Camp Reeves is a primitive camp and while we will take water and should have access to water while there, please plan accordingly and bring at least 2 water bottles (Liter would be ideal) to ensure you stay hydrated
• Weather: Please take a look at the weather forecast daily as you pack for and plan for the trip.   The forecast can change at any time and you should be prepared.
